Vincent holds a Master degree in Economics (French “maîtrise”) and a postgraduate degree in International Business (French DESS) from Lille University. He also completed an MBA from Staffordshire University Business School, UK.
He began his career in BtoB Sales and Marketing for British Petroleum (BP) in the lubricant business. Marketing Manager when he joined BP, he was promoted National Sales Director for ExxonMobil in France in his early 30s, and European Marketing Manager, based in Brussels a few years later. Vincent moved back to France in 2003 to his first General Management position for AkzoNobel Car Refinishes. After successfully leading the French business for 5 years, he was promoted in the Netherlands as Strategic Sales Director for the EMEA region, managing the Key Account Manager teams across more than 20 countries. Strengthened by his track record, he is hired in 2011 by the Autostrade Group to build the European distribution retail network for the French Ecotax project, under extreme political pressure. Four years later, he is hired away from his job by WEX Services to grow the European activities in Fleet Management and Fuel Card business, whilst leading both the French and the BnL clusters as Managing Director. In 2016, he faced a new BtoBtoC challenge as General Manager of the Brandt group for French operations. Brandt is a major domestic appliance manufacturer known for its 4 brands: De Dietrich, Sauter, Vedette and Brandt.
Vincent has been successively a member of French and European Executive committees. He has an extensive and broad experience in various aspects of business management, having been responsible of the P&L of entities with sales figures ranging from 50 Mil Euros up to 300+ Mil Euros. He has been successfully leading business development endeavors, restructuring, take-overs as well as team integrations at a local or European level for leading groups in their field.
Vincent shows a proven track record in managing cross functional and multi-cultural teams, mostly in tough environments and in mature business markets. He is a manager with a good balance of direction and coaching, to help his teams evolve. He has now decided to join aperlead to develop the Transition Management branch, recruiting Executives for his clients. Vincent always had a great interest for people and talent development.
He is fond of nature, design and architecture, he loves the vintage style and he most certainly is a petrol head.
