Mathilde Novel holds a Master’s degree in General Private Law from Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University, specialising in the history of law and institutions.
She began her career as a lawyer at a leading Parisian notary’s office (14 Pyramides Notaires), where she practised for over seven years in corporate finance and property. She then joined the legal department of a property developer, dealing with all matters relating to construction projects.
She joined aperlead in January 2026 as a consultant within the Tax & Legal department, bringing her in-depth knowledge of the legal profession and its practical realities to bear for the benefit of her clients.
She works on recruitment assignments for lawyers, notaries and in-house legal counsel. Mathilde enjoys sport (fencing, tennis) and the mountains, and has a passion for history.
